Position Overview

Thermore is seeking a passionate and experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow our business in North America, with a strong focus on the sportswear and outdoor performance sectors, with opportunities to expand into fashion and non-apparel applications.

This is a strategic, long-term role with a unique opportunity: you will train under a well respected industry expert and long-standing Thermore team member with 25+ years of service. Over the course of 2 years, you will absorb their knowledge, build strong customer relationships, and eventually step into a leadership role for the region.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage and expand Thermore’s client base across North America, with a primary focus on the outdoor and sportswear markets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in the fashion and lifestyle sectors.
  • Deliver against sales targets and market share goals.

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong, consultative relationships with existing customers and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on thermal insulation technologies, sustainability benefits, and product applications.

Strategic Account Transition

  • Train under the current North American Sales Director for two years, gradually taking over key accounts and responsibilities.
  • Ensure a seamless handover of knowledge, contacts, and market insights.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with Thermore’s Italian headquarters and global marketing, product development, and customer service teams.
  • Provide market feedback to support new product development and strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in B2B sales within the textile, performance apparel, outdoor, or fashion industries.
  • Demonstrated success in territory management, key account development, and sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of technical textiles, sustainable materials, or insulation products is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working remotely with international teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across North America and occasionally to Europe and/or The Far East.
