In 2025, the series has been comprehensively upgraded with the first-ever introduction of four major regions – [Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Area], [Greater Bay Area], [Southwest Area], and [Yangtze River Delta] – which significantly expands regional coverage and improves participation convenience, along with the inventively added [Repechage] mechanism that offers riders a final chance to break through; after four months of intense competition across ten qualifying events, the total number of starters surpassed 4,303, with 360 pairs ultimately advancing to secure their qualification, injecting even more suspense and excitement into this year’s Beijing Masters.

Ms. Scarlett MA, Marketing Director of Longines China, emphasized that as the event’s title sponsor, official timekeeper and designated watch partner, Longines will continue to bring its precision, elegance and heritage to help create more remarkable moments at the Masters. This is set to draw global attention and participation, opening new opportunities for Chinese equestrianism to reach new heights.
Photo 8: On-site interaction among Chinese rider representatives CAL Qing, JI Wanru and TIAN Nafei The press conference specially invited three rider representatives who have grown alongside the Masters to share their unique bonds with the event: CAO Qing, the “veteran” rider who has competed since the inaugural edition in 2011 and continues to ride with the same vigor this year; along with standout youth riders JI Wanru and TIAN Nafei. They recounted their precious journeys of personal growth intertwined with the Masters’ 12-year evolution, bearing witness together with the audience to this equestrian spectacle’s continuous breakthroughs and shared brilliance in China.

The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the brand-new visual identity, which made its stunning debut. The design masterfully integrates the architectural essence of the Bird’s Nest, traditional Chinese decorative patterns, the dynamic form of galloping horses, and Longines’ embodiment of the “time” concept. This fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics, history and modernity, creates a visually striking composition that conveys both heritage and innovation.
