Founded in 2007, GIBBON is the world leader in slackline products and innovation. From Super Bowl halftime shows to Cirque du Soleil performances, GIBBON’s products have helped produce some of the best balance athletes in the world. GIBBON North America holds the exclusive license to sell GIBBON products throughout North America. The company has been growing exponentially since launching the GIBBON SlackBoard, the most dynamic and versatile balance training tool on the market.

GIBBON North America has sold more than 100,000 SlackBoards and grew SlackBoard sales more than 4X year over year in 2024, from $3 million in 2023 to more than $14 million in 2024. We expect to at least double revenue to more than $30 million in 2025 and are currently well ahead of plan. Our exclusive focus has been direct-to-consumer sales, primarily through our website, with the majority of our awareness coming from Meta advertising. In 2025, we intend to continue to squeeze as much as we can out of Meta while preparing to execute our longer-term three-pronged strategy of selling through brick-and-mortar retailers, leveraging television-based advertising, and expanding our penetration into commercial markets. The Chief Revenue Officer will help shape the future of our company by maximizing our sales and marketing efforts across all channels. The CRO will report directly to the CEO and have a team of 7 full time employees to start as well as a number of outside contractors supporting their efforts.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Chief Revenue Officer to drive the continued growth of the GIBBON brand throughout North America. This includes every aspect of marketing and sales as well as elements of operations and new product development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in growing consumer product companies in the active lifestyle space from under $20 million in revenue to more than $100 million in revenue with experience selling direct-to-consumer, business-to-business and through brick-and-mortar retail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership:
o Earn the trust of the GIBBON team and drive them to achieve the company’s goals.
o Be responsible for everything the GIBBON sales and marketing organization does or fails to do.
o Build a sales and marketing team and culture that enables the company to achieve its long-term goals.
• Strategy:
o Develop the plan for how the company will achieve the targets set by the CEO.
o Ensure the strategy is supported by the appropriate tactics that will deliver the expected results.
o Adjust the strategy in real time as facts change and new opportunities present themselves.
 Execution:
o Ensure the strategy is implemented and the tactics are executed successfully by the team.
o Actively support the team by personally taking on meaningful tasks across all functions and executing them well.
o Be willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that everything that needs to get done, gets done, even if it means that you do it yourself.

Qualifications:
• Exceptional leadership skills built on a philosophy distilled from more than a decade of leading teams.
• Experience as a CMO or in a senior marketing role in a rapidly growing >$20 million revenue consumer product company in the sports and active lifestyle industry; experience growing the company to >$100 million in revenue preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Demonstrable success in the art of marketing and a fluency with the science of marketing.
• Exceptional written and visual communication skills.
• A deep understanding of brands and consumer behavior.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
