The New England-based organization expands its team ahead of the 2025 ASICS Falmouth Road Race

FALMOUTH, Mass. – Falmouth Road Race, Inc., the nonprofit behind the ASICS Falmouth Road Race, has announced the expansion of its team with the hiring of Erika Sheinhait. Sheinhait will play a key role as the organization’s creative director, where she will develop and maintain the creative direction for the Falmouth Road Race across all platforms. Sheinhait will work directly with the executive director while simultaneously collaborating with multiple other Falmouth Road Race teams to ensure brand consistency across the board.

“Erika brings so much unique knowledge and expertise to our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her join us,” said Megan Faulkner, executive director of Falmouth Road Race, Inc. “We are passionate about the overall vision of our organization, and believe that Erika is the perfect fit to help us strengthen our branding and continue to grow the knowledge of all that we do at Falmouth Road Race, Inc.”

Sheinhait’s passion for sports started at a young age. Growing up a New England sports fan, Sheinhait was engulfed in the sports world early. While at college, Sheinhait found interest in nonprofit work, and from there learned of the many nonprofit avenues within the sports world. Sheinhait went on to mix her passions and begin her career focusing on nonprofit work in the sports industry.

Sheinhait has a strong background in sports communications. Prior to joining the Falmouth Road Race, Inc., Sheinhait spent six and a half years with the Bay State Games, a nonprofit organization with the primary function of organizing the Bay State Summer and Winter Games. Sheinhait spent her first two years as a communications and operations intern at Bay State Games before being hired on full-time as their communications coordinator. After three years in this role, Sheinhait was promoted to director of communications, a role she led for another three years.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the Falmouth Road Race team and contribute to its historic legacy, rich tradition and continued success,” said Erika Sheinhait, creative director at Falmouth Road Race, Inc. “I look forward to working alongside this dedicated team to create a memorable race experience for everyone involved.”

Sheinhait is a graduate of Western New England University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Sports Management before continuing her education and earning her Master of Business Administration (MBA). While studying as an undergraduate, Sheinhait was a member of the College of Business Honors Program, President’s List, Dean’s List and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Sheinhait will be relocating to Falmouth ahead of starting her role as creative director.
