| The Wanda Diamond League season enters its decisive final stretch this month with stops in Lausanne, Silesia and Zurich.The world’s leading athletes will then battle for places in the two-day finale, the Memorial Van Damme in Brussels, on 4-5 September. Diamond League titles, trophies and a significant prize beyond the final itself will be at stake.Victory in Brussels will secure guaranteed entry to the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship, making the Diamond League Final the last opportunity for athletes to book their place in Budapest automatically.Just six days later, Olympic champions, world champions, Diamond League winners and the world’s top-ranked athletes will come together from 11-13 September for three evenings of high-stakes competition at the Ultimate Championship. |
