Top finishers include Saucony athlete Abbe Goldstein who took the top overall spot in the 7K

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Saucony Love Run Philadelphia hosted a sell-out crowd at its 11th annual event on March 29. Since its inaugural running in 2014, the race has grown into the city’s largest spring half-marathon, with this year’s participant count reaching over 14,500 runners from around the nation. The event filled the streets of Philadelphia with elite and everyday participants alike, and took runners through the city’s historic and cultural landmarks. The day’s most notable result was from Saucony Athlete Abbe Goldstein. Goldstein was both the top overall finisher and the top women’s finisher in the 7K with a time of 23:35.

“The energy at this year’s Saucony Love Run Philly was truly special,” said Phyllis Blanchard, VP of Commercial Partnerships at Motiv Sports, producer of the Saucony Love Run Philadelphia. “With thousands of runners and incredible support from the Philadelphia community, the event delivered an unforgettable experience – made even more impactful by Saucony’s presence throughout the weekend, consistently showing up to support runners at every stage of their journey.”

The events included a mixer with the Running Industry Diversity Coalition, a community run and panel discussion featuring Olympic medalist Molly Huddle, fitness leader and Peloton coach Kirsten Ferguson, and Kiera Smalls, Executive Director of the Running Industry Diversity Coalition, a kickoff party, official cheer zones along the route, and after party.
