The race will take place at Fenway Park on the warning track on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the early evening with the exact start time being announced soon.
There is no “entry fee” to register, but there is a mandatory fundraising minimum of $5,000 to benefit the Red Sox Foundation and Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation. Please complete the registration link below by Friday, February 27, 2026, to reserve your spot and confirm your participation in the race. By registering, you agree that you will raise the required minimum by the fundraising deadline on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. You do not need to start fundraising until we have confirmed you are an official participant, which will be in early March.
And, for awareness spectators will be allow in the park to watch the race! This is the best spectator marathon in the world as your loved ones can see you and cheer for you the entire way and you can be inspired by seeing them, too, the entire way! And what other marathon can you run in where you can also spectate and see how everyone else is doing in the race and can cheer for each other every step of the way?!!!!!! Thanks to all you who have already registered!! This is going to be great! You will love it and will remember this marathon for the rest of your life! I’ve run 173 marathons myself and honestly this was one of my all-time favorite ones
Please note that the race is contingent on a minimum of fifty (50) runners registering via the link below by Friday, February 27, 2026. The Red Sox Foundation and Dave McGillivray Finish Strong Foundation will alert registered runners when we hit this target. Also note that there will be limit of only 100 runners for this event, so please register as soon as possible! If and when 100 runners are registered, we will close registration, so please encourage any of your running friends to consider running and registering, too! If 50 runners do not register by Friday, February 27, the race will not take place and there will be no fundraising obligation. Here is the registration link:
