The 44th running of the Capital Challenge three-mile road race takes place Wednesday, May 6, 8:00 a.m. at Anacostia Park in Washington, DC. Our nation’s leaders are walking and running to support Junior Achievement USA’s financial education programs. Our celebrity runner this year is two-time Olympian and three-time NCAA champion Kara Goucher. A quick flag for Congressional teams: With the U.S. House and Senate out of session, participation rules have been expanded to encourage staff involvement.
