About Realbuzz
Realbuzz is a global leader in charity program delivery, connecting charities, runners and some of the world’s most iconic mass-participation events.

Working with world-renowned events, including the Tokyo, Berlin, and Chicago Marathons, we connect event organizers with our international network of charity partners, helping charities raise vital funds while giving runners the opportunity to participate in extraordinary events.

We are an ambitious, commercially driven business with a clear focus on building long-term strategic partnerships, expanding our global event portfolio and creating more opportunities for people to take on extraordinary challenges while making a positive impact.

The United States is a key strategic growth market for Realbuzz. We see significant opportunities to establish new event partnerships, strengthen our presence within the US endurance industry and build a more diverse portfolio of events for our international charity partners.

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Head of US Event Partnerships to lead the acquisition and development of new event partnerships across the United States.

This is a senior, predominantly new-business role for someone with an established network in the US endurance industry, strong commercial instincts and a proven ability to turn relationships into valuable, long-term partnerships.

You will be responsible for identifying and securing partnerships with leading event organizers, race directors and rights holders, negotiating commercially attractive agreements and expanding Realbuzz’s access to high-quality race inventory.

We are looking for someone who understands the US endurance landscape, knows how event organizers think and can clearly articulate the commercial value Realbuzz brings through its international charity network and runner community.

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will have significant autonomy to shape our US event acquisition strategy, develop senior industry relationships and play a central role in our continued international growth.

What You’ll Own

New Business & Event Acquisition

  • Lead the identification, development and acquisition of new event partnerships across the US endurance market.
  • Build and leverage relationships with race directors, event owners, rights holders and senior commercial decision-makers.
  • Develop a targeted pipeline of commercially attractive event opportunities, prioritizing high-demand events and partnerships with long-term growth potential.
  • Own the full partnership acquisition process, from initial engagement and proposition development through to commercial negotiation and signed agreement.
  • Secure scalable race inventory on commercially sustainable terms, with a focus on multi-year agreements and long-term partnership value.

Commercial Growth & Partnership Development

  • Identify opportunities to increase the commercial value of newly acquired partnerships through larger race allocations, own-place conversion and broader event portfolio opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to develop compelling commercial propositions that deliver value for event organizers, charity partners and Realbuzz.
  • Explore opportunities for closer integration with event partners, including data sharing, digital integration and enhanced charity participation programs.
Ensure new partnerships are structured to support sustainable revenue growth and long-term profitability.

Market Development & Strategic Insight

  • Act as Realbuzz’s key commercial representative within the US endurance industry, building our profile and strengthening relationships with influential industry stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the US event landscape, including emerging opportunities, competitor activity and evolving event organizer priorities.
  • Provide market insight and commercial recommendations to help shape Realbuzz’s wider US growth strategy.
  • Represent Realbuzz at key industry events, conferences and partner meetings across the United States.

What Success Looks Like
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to build a strong pipeline of opportunities and convert those opportunities into valuable, sustainable event partnerships.

You’ll make a measurable contribution through:

  • Securing new partnerships with strategically important US endurance events.
  • Growing the volume and quality of commercially attractive race inventory.
  • Negotiating agreements that create long-term value for Realbuzz and its event partners.
  • Developing a strong network of senior industry relationships that supports continued portfolio expansion.
  • Contributing to the revenue growth and profitability of Realbuzz’s US event portfolio.
    About You
  • We are looking for a commercially ambitious, well-connected individual who combines strong relationship-building skills with the drive and confidence to secure new business.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Industry experience: 5-10 years’ experience in endurance sport, mass participation events, sports rights, event partnerships or a closely related commercial environment.
  • An established US network: Strong existing relationships with race directors, event owners, rights holders and senior decision-makers across the US endurance industry.
  • A proven new-business track record: Demonstrable success originating opportunities, developing commercial relationships and negotiating valuable partnership agreements.
  • Commercial judgement: The ability to assess partnership opportunities, develop compelling propositions and negotiate agreements that balance growth with long-term profitability.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset: Comfortable working autonomously, identifying opportunities and taking ownership of commercial outcomes.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills: Credible and confident engaging with senior stakeholders, building trust and navigating complex commercial discussions.
  • A willingness to travel: Happy to travel regularly across the United States to develop relationships, attend industry events and meet prospective partners.

Above all, you’ll be someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning commercial opportunities into successful long-term partnerships.

Why Join Realbuzz?

  • An established international platform: Leverage Realbuzz’s existing charity relationships, event portfolio and global reach to develop compelling new partnerships.
