Can you help us put the fun in our runs? Pig Works, the parent non-profit organization of the Flying Pig Marathon, Queen Bee Half Marathon, TQL Beer Series and FCC3, is seeking a full-time running mate for our team.
The Registration & Administration Coordinator is a salaried position that will manage the planning, development and execution of our registration for all events. We are looking for someone with strong customer service and problem-solving skills as well as attention to detail. This position will report directly to our chief operating officer, but interact with our entire staff to support marketing, sponsorship and race operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Registration
• Manage the online registration for all Pig Works events, ensuring all registration pages are fully operational to provide all participants with a seamless experience from the point of registration through their race day/weekend.
• Manage data through the entire registration process: launch registration, maintain registration process, price changes, close registration, manage data for the event, corporate invoicing/discounts and utilize data for timing of event.
• Serve as the lead point of contact for response to incoming participant questions, primarily through email.
• Oversee registration operations for all events/expo including bib assignment, packet preparation and pick-up operations in conjunction with the Project Manager.
• Create reporting for analysis of registration data including weekly tracking, demographics, and event-specific marketing/sponsor data needs.
• Manage relationship with timing company through the entire registration process: including race/bib number assignment, expo preparation, race day functions, and post-race management of timing inquiries and errors.
• Manage relationships with our registration company with weekly meetings to ensure all registration processes and needs are fulfilled.
• Success in the above areas requires cross-function relationships with other staff members of the Pig Works team.
• Manage customer loyalty programs for all race brands for our returning participants, including Lifetime Members.
• Calculate and produce gear check system for all events.
Administration
• Recruit, hire and manage our intern program that typically employs 10-15 college students throughout the year.
• In conjunction with marketing and sponsorship, coordinate community and mascot appearances including scheduling staffing, supplies, cleanings, etc.
• Coordinate ordering for office supplies, office calendars, etc.
• Coordinate event archives with records of participant premiums and amenities
Qualifications
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong customer service skills, including when working under pressure
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
• Ability to manage and manipulate large amounts of data, in various formats
• Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be highly organized, efficient, and detailed
• Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects at any given time
• Must be available to work some weekends (including event weekends) and extended hours, as needed
• Mandatory event attendance for all Pig Works events
• Willingness to help achieve organizational and team needs to produce successful events
• Additional assignments and tasks as required
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Knowledge of the running industry or events preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
