Charity Program to Grant Remaining Access to 44th Marine Corps Marathon

MCM Lottery closed; Entries available through 73 Charity Partners

QUANTICO, VA (March 27, 2019) – Marine Corps Marathon (MCM) Lottery acceptance results were announced today. Runners were notified through email of their status. The 44th MCM will host 30,000 runners and 150,000 spectators on Sunday, October 27 in Arlington, Virginia and the nation’s capital.

The MCM Lottery accepted runners from all 50 states, Washington D.C. and 52 countries. The top states to register outside the national capital region were New York, Massachusetts, Florida and Pennsylvania. Habtom Habte of Danbury, Connecticut was one of the thousands of runners notified today,
marking his 44th birthday with acceptance
to the 44th MCM.

Limited entries are still available through the MCM Charity Program. Runners determined to #RunWithTheMarines can view the list of MCM Charity partners on the Charity page of the MCM website.

There are 72 charities offering guaranteed entries for a cause. This is a great way for runners
to participate in the MCM and generate awareness for a cause of their choice. The plethora of charities represent areas such as military, health, education, international causes and research.  

Still available is the MCM Four Star Registration package. This all-inclusive package offers
a comprehensive bundle that includes up to two guaranteed MCM entries, hotel nights at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, hospitality and shuttle service. Runners can choose from packages based on length of stay and one or two runners.
