Twin Cities In Motion Provides 10 Entries to Medtronic TC 10 Mile for Fundraiser; Heather Kampf, Danny Docherty to Race this Weekend

Minneapolis/St. Paul – Aug. 1, 2017 – Twin Cities In Motion, a gold sponsor of Team USA Minnesota, is providing the distance running training group with 10 entries to the Medtronic TC 10 Mile to use as a fundraiser.  The sold-out race is set for Sunday, Oct. 1, and runners would have until Aug. 25 to still register through this late entry fundraiser.
Runners who are interested in obtaining one of the 10 entries for the 10 Mile should send an e-mail to Patricia Goodwin at  A contribution of $250 per entry would be made to Team USA Minnesota, which is a 501c3 nonprofit.  Runners who make the donation will then be sent a link so they can register online for the 2017 race.  No additional fees will be required and the donation is tax deductible.
“We appreciate TCM giving us the opportunity to provide runners who weren’t selected in the 10 mile drawing a chance to still line up for this race,” said Goodwin, who is president and founder of Team USA Minnesota.  “Plus the funds we raise through this effort help support our distance runners who are training for national, international and Olympic competitions from the 1500 meters up through the marathon - on the roads, track and in cross country.”
