Kampf to Run Falmouth Mile Aug. 20, Places
3rd in New PR at Sir Walter Miler; Rob Molke, Jon
Peterson Are 1-2 at MDRA 15k

Aug. 10, 2016 – Team USA Minnesota’s Heather
Kampf will be among the competitors at the
Falmouth Elite Mile in Falmouth, Mass., on Aug. 20.
Kampf set a personal best on the track in the mile of
4:27.23 (previous was 4:27.26) and placed third at the
Sir Walter Miler in Raleigh on Aug. 5, while Rob
Molke and Jon Peterson finished
first and second at the MDRA 15k in St. Paul on Aug.
The Falmouth Elite Mile
will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the Falmouth High School
track. The mile runs are a companion event to
the Falmouth Road Race which will be held the next
day. Kampf last competed in the Falmouth Mile in
2013 when she placed second in the women’s field.
At the MDRA 15k, Molke
finished in first place in a time of 47:52 and
teammate Peterson was second in 49:03. The MDRA
(Minnesota Distance Running Association) race was held
at Crosby Farm Park in St. Paul.
The two are preparing to
run in the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon on Oct. 9
which will be a debut in the marathon for both
runners. Next up for Molke and Peterson will be
the USATF 20k Championships in New Haven on Labor Day.
